Welcome to asteriskmonitor.org, the home of Asterisk Monitor.

AsteriskMonitor is a free software, released under the terms of the GNU/GPL license, that pretends to give you an easy-to-use Java API for an Asterisk PBX. So, forget about sockets protocols and bash scripts: you will just need to connect to the Asterisk Monitor Server trought RMI, and start working with Agents, Queues, Terminals, etc.

AsteriskMonitor is designed in a modular way. New functionalities (plugins) can be added or removed from the server while it is running (hot plug-unplug). You can design your own plugins to make the server do what you want: it can send you an SMS when the server falls down, or call you when nobody is connected in you company's office and you are out, etc.
